ZTT’s Great Breakthrough in Graphene Composite Material Technology

Jiangsu, 6th Dec 2016, ZTT Group - leading global manufacturer of cable systems, cooperating with Chinese Academy of Sciences, have made great breakthrough in metal matrix (aluminum) graphene composite materials (hereinafter referred to as composite material). The composite material has successfully produced in industrialized continuous casting and rolling production lines and taken a crucial step in graphene applicable in metal field.

Graphene and the relative applicable technology are global hot topic; now it has been successfully produced which brings innovative and revolutionary choice for national power system with big breakthroughs in many fields like energy saving & consumption reducing, resistance to heavy ice, large-crossing, etc. 
The project has been global first successful application case which produces aluminum graphene composite material with continuous casting and rolling production lines. The composite material would promote the industrialization with great performances in high productivity and low cost.
Mastering the revolutionary technology, not only can provide the applicable support for graphene used in aluminum material for overhead conductor, but also improve the pertinent performance while combined with the process adjustment. For example, as “Aluminum Replace Steel” has become the current trend, the overhead conductor can realize “less aluminum and weight reduction” to achieve remarkable economic and social benefits under the help of graphene.
Currently, ZTT has arranged the industrial layout according to this technological achievement based on ZTT aluminum factory with 300 million CNY investment. ZTT would firstly take advantage of the new technology in aluminum and aluminum alloy overhead conductors to achieve the new industrial growth, lead to the technological development of Chinese high-end graphene composite material and bring better economic and social benefits.
